Jason Starbay, a middle-aged Australian rock singer, has come to the end of a tour through the Czech Republic. (His band, the Stunned Mullets, first toured Czechoslovakia nearly 20 years ago.) Natalia is a young Czech girl determined to uncover her past. They cross paths in a run-down hotel in Prague, and the last thing Jason wants to hear is that he might be Natalia's father . . .
